Privacy Policy

These are static pages. We set no cookies of our own, run no analytics and have no account to log in to, so there is very little to tell — but what there is, is here in full.

What we collect

Nothing, directly. There is no form on this site, no newsletter and no login. If you email us, we hold that email in order to answer it and for no other purpose.

Cookies

We set none. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address and browser string of every request, as every web server does.

The third parties, and when they appear

Two only, and neither runs until you act:

• Viator and GetYourGuide. When you follow a booking link, you leave this site and their privacy terms apply. The link carries a tracking code that tells them the booking came from us; it does not tell us who you are.
• Google Maps. The map on the homepage stays a still image until you press the button on it. Nothing is requested from Google until you do, which is why there is a button rather than a cookie banner.

Search Console and Bing Webmaster

This domain is verified with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Both report aggregate search data about the site — queries, impressions, positions — and neither identifies an individual visitor to us.

Your rights

Because we hold nothing beyond an email you chose to send, a request to see or delete your data is answered by deleting that email. Write to hello@phillipislandpenguintours.com and we will confirm when it is done.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The commercial relationship behind the links is set out separately on our affiliate disclosure.
