Photographs of the birds, the peninsula and the wildlife a day tour adds. The evening crossing itself is the one thing you cannot photograph yourself — cameras are not allowed after sunset — so those frames come from the operators and the reserve, and the daylight ones show you what you can shoot.

Where these were taken

The beach frames are Summerland Beach on the western tip of the peninsula. The boardwalk and headland pictures are The Nobbies, a few minutes further west, where the walkways and car park stay open even though the centre building does not. The koalas and kangaroos come from the wildlife parks that several tours put in the fare, and the steam railway is Puffing Billy, which two of the days take in on the way.
